How to make Tortilla Soup

First, you have to get some nice marbled rib-eyes and a groups of friends together and get totally steamed while making dinner. Then, it is a requirement that you make complete and utter fools of yourself at Karaoke. Finally, when your throat is hoarse, but the steam has yet to clear, make sure you work in a booty call.

Ok, now you're ready to start. Wake up still steaming and go to Cafe Brazil and order chicken nachos with a side of queso for breakfast. Drink two cups of coffee, eat abou 1/3 of nachos and queso.... go home. Put take=home food in fridge.

At 4:30 p.m. the night this soup is to be served, take thawed, home-made chicken stock and put it in a big-assed pot. Bring to low boil and dump in all of the contents of the styrofoam container. Add a chopped onion, a chopped zucchini squash and a chopped yellow squash.

Add salt, pepper, paprika (For color) and garlic. Lots and lots of garlic.
Find a package of corn tortillas in the fridge that are stale. If there are anywhere close to a dozen remaining you are golden. Add these to the pot.

Let this whole thing simmer/boil while you take a shower. Then, come downstairs, grab the wand blender and puree about 1/2 the contents of the pot.

The whole thing is done and in containers by 5:30 p.m.

Remember, this only works if you order nachos for breakfast. So keep steaming.... it's always the start of something good.
