Things I know...

1. It is possible to literally scare the shit out of a dog.
2. There are things the Europeans do better than we do:
They eat slower
They eat salad last
They eat smaller portions of fresher food.
They linger a long time over the last two glasses of red wine
They light candles at the table just because the can
They take their dogs into restaurants, cafes, banks, insurance buildings, the post office, the butcher shop and the local bike repairman's lair.
They stay thinner
They value craftsmanship and quality. Design is important. Things evolve.
They do not infuse white wine with extra bubbles and call it Champagne
3. I am not an early adopter of technology and even I got all wet and sloppy at the new iPhone
4. Weathermen SUCK
5. It is not possible to be any colder than when it is 33 degrees outside and you are wet.
