Powerful words

Today I heard a quote that truly touched my heart. While looking for it, I found these:

"And forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair."
~ Kahlil Gibran

"When something important is going on, silence is a lie."
~ A.M. Rosenthal

"A candle loses nothing by lighting another candle."
~ Father James Keller

"Tell me who you love, and I'll tell you who you are."
~ Creole proverb

“Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect. It means that you've decided to look beyond the imperfections.”
~ Unknown

“We tend to forget that happiness doesn't come as a result of getting something we don't have, but rather of recognizing and appreciating what we do have.”
~ Frederick Koenig

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
~ Marianne Williamson

"People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within."
~ Elisabeth Kubler-Ross

The original quote was from Rumi and goes something like this:
"God will break your heart over and over and over and over. Until it stays open." Rumi
