I believe in Play
I believe in wearing new shoes home from the store.
I believe in opening the bag of cookies in the car.
I believe in swinging on the monkey bars.
I believe in singing out loud even if I can’t carry a tune
I believe in stirring the chocolate sauce into my ice cream
I believe in throwing my hands into the air as the roller coaster comes down
I believe in laughing until I cry
I believe in tickling children
I believe in silliness
I believe in love so powerful it takes your breath away
I believe in dreams that come true
I believe in hard work
I believe in soft kisses
I believe in puppies and rough cat tongues
I believe in the glory of the sunrise and sunset
I believe in the full moon
I believe in wishing on shooting stars
I believe in glow-in-the-dark stars on the ceiling
I believe in stretching
I believe in holding my breath and diving outside the comfort zone
I believe in gigglefits
I believe in champagne on Tuesdays
I believe in smiling at the dirty man on the corner even when I don’t have change
I believe in lattes
I believe in corny lines
I believe in sharing a good meal with people I love
I believe in dancing in the grocery store
I believe in best friends
I believe in sleeping in
I believe in vacations
I believe in religious experiences on Sunday morning
I believe in reveling in sore muscles
I believe in spoiling the one you love
I believe in crying when it hurts
I believe in hula hoops
I believe in grilled asparagus
I believe in chocolate mice
I believe in tying wishes to kites
I believe in music that touches my soul
I believe in the healing power of snow
