Showtime has been Showtime since before I moved here. But this weekend Moldy decided to rename her No Show after she ran more than twice as far as she should have on her leg of the Rock-n-Relay Marathon. She cut to the inner circle at the lake and missed the handoff from 3-to-4. Moldy was mighty upset, but she got over it. We made it to 4 and both she and Wet Dry Vac ran the last leg. I don't know if we were disqualified or not, but it seems possible at the time.
It was a great morning and everyone seemed to have a really nice time. I ran 88 minutes, which is 13.13 minute miles. That is actually better than I had predicted by quite a bit. The t-shirts were a huge hit. And so was the Beaver-mobile. I do hope that Lynece's pictures turned out.

Google has this thing where you can choose an image that pops up when you hover over one of your contacts. It says you can choose your pic or "their" pick. It actually makes my skin creep. I feel like emailing Google right now. But I might be too tired.

Wrung out? Strung out? I has a busy weekend. Babysitting, two dinner parties, riding, running in the relay. I think my electrolytes are still hosed. And I think I could use a nap. Unfortunately, Joe is out tonight negotiating his purchase of the massage school in Fort Worth-- so we'll see what rest I can get.

Leslie and I have a new favorite lunch spot. It's called Omega's on Crowdus and Commerce. It's a great space, good specials and free queso and dessert -- plus, the kitchen is super fast. Maybe that's why I'm in a food coma.

For a short while this morning it looked like there was a $98 round trip fare to Albuquerque. It went up to $200 and I got booked pretty quickly with things that need to be done. HOWEVER, don't think I wasn't tempted. There's a forest fire that needs tending.
