Retaining water: Hour 9

The time has come to face that right of passage or is it rite of passage we all should be happy to face -- and the sooner the better.
I am going to do a long form tax return. Now won't that be fun?

I am thinking of how to make cheese enchiladas and I am thinking that Mexicans don't make their cheese orange and therefore I am thinking that what passes for a cheese enchilada is Tex-Mex and not Mexican. Oy Vey. So what do Mexicans traditionally put in a cheese enchilada? Queso Fresco? Queso Ranchero? Queso something or other with a P? I think I miss Roberto and it's time for him to move back.

Why can't we have a Starbucks drive through on Zang? And a Whole Foods market -- or maybe even a Sprouts market on 12th? Why can't we support something other than the nasty old Minyards on Hampton and Fort Worth? How many low-end grocery stores that aren't as cheap s Fiesta does one really need in a one-mile radius?

I have been having a fish-that-got-away moment this last 8 days.

Monday we should have what we need to get the loan approved. I know. I know. I keep hearing that. But I want it to be so very true this time.

It costs between $50-$100 each to get nice outside planters for the yard. And it costs $$$ for the potting soil. If I make them, it won't cost much less -- what with paint and plastic to line them and so forth.
When I was a kid, my dad made the planters and we dug the dirt from the yard. Finished goods must have been a lot more expensive then, because I know the lumber was not as much as what it is today. And of course, the ideal material would be composite lumber, but that costs even more.

Which brings me to another financial topic: The debt.
The National Debt.
Nevermind. I am entirely too overwhelmed to talk about the debt. But it is scaring me shitless.
