So there I was... listening to NPR... and someone said, half as an aside, that if you've gotten to the second date you've probably already googled the someone you are seeing....
Well, I thought, of course. Wait. The last person I googled had no google presence except his address and phone number, which actually were published...
WOW. That's like not text messaging! Backward, right?
I think in this day and age, you should have a life that's visible at least in passing via the Web. Otherwise I would wonder if you're really living or just taking up oxygen.

I admit that I have not googled someone I was dating or seeing or friends with.
Not a freak... but sometimes it is best FOR ME to learn about people through experience.
I don't google people I date.
And if someone googled me, they'd get all kinds of interesting results. There are lots of people with my name out there.
