My clothes are laid out on the bed.
My pack is sitting on the floor in the extra room.
I just can'tdecide on the shoes...
See, lately I have been wearing my orthodics.. and that means I can only wear certain shoes. And in Italy, I want to have them be comfortable, useful and, well, stylish.
So, I would want to take my running shoes, but they are trail shoes and they are bulky and I might not do any running. I have been injured, you know.
I might want to take my hiking boots.. but they are NOT stylish.
I might want to take my favorite work shoes.... but they are NOT comfortable for hours and hours of walking.
I really want to take my chaco sandles, but I have yet to discover if my orthodics will say in them with velcro... guess I should add that to my list.
Italy, ah yes. Well, Annie gave us a phrase book today. I have a map. And a guide book for Florence. I have money, some of which I need to exchange for Euros. But it turns out you can use your visa card (Debit for me) and get a good exchange rate at one of 55 ATMs in Florence.
We know where we can rent bicycles and we scooters. And Mike is very excited to see David.
I still need to get Heartworm medicine for Jenna. And I have to print out my address list for post cards and I have to highlight my hair.... and I have to work, too. But our email is down again so right now I am just hanging tight.
Anyway, I'm not nearly as stressed as Circe, mother of the bride... or Amanda, bride-to-be.
My friend CrackClimber called the other day from Rehab. He sounds sad. I keep missing his calls... he gets 15 minutes a call and two calls a day... so I can't call him. He leaves me messages. I am glad he's quitting alcohol... he is a blind drunk... meaning he loses consciousness long before he stops moving around and he never remembers what he did... that, and he can't stop drinking once he starts.
I climbed this weekend. That was cool.
Tomorrow is Mike's mother's birthday... I have purchased a gift for her.
Boy, is this frustrating... I'd really like to be working.
So.. anyone know what I should do about shoes?

HOPEFULLY you took your orthodics and maybe your tennis shoes...you work shoes for dress....
Any other shoe you need you may be a ble to purchase!
I think your red shoes, that remind me of Mary Jane's, cute and I hope they are with you!
Looking forward to your return home...and the stories you will tell!
The doggies are fine...so is Elliot.
All are very playful with me.
Kisses to you both!
