Feeling at home...

It has taken nearly a month.
The furniture is now where it will likely stay.
The closets are getting less full as things are removed and given away.
The kitchen is clean "again," as the final dishes from last week's party have been washed and dried and put away.
Pinky and the Brain have found a new home.
Things have migrated to the shed.
Squash blossoms are on the vine.
Dog nose-prints are on the windows.
The couch will come up off the floor this weekend.
I'm ready to hire a maid.
New leaves are growing on the Weeping Fig and the Ficus; a sure sign they have settled from the move.
There's already been a plumbing leak.
It's been nearly a month and I am finally feeling at home in my house.
