Pride might goeth before the fall... but I am still working on how that balance holds up.... because being proud of what you're good at and what you've got in your life shouldn't be wrong. I guess I should play with the definitions of pride -- and of gratitude.
But in the mean time...
I am proud of the way that I handle a manual transmission automobile. I'm not always a great driver, but I am good with a clutch and a stick shift.
I am proud of the way I take care of my dogs.
I am proud of the way I love.
I am proud of my hugging ability
I am proud of my myriad friendships.
I am proud of my home.
I am proud of my recent ability to walk away from drama.
I am proud of the way I handled the situation with Jamie.
I am proud of the job I do at Paladin.
I am proud of the enthusiams with which I manage the Time Trials.
I am proud of the cooking I do with Sammy at Ultras.
I am proud of the way I care for my fingernails (on average).
I am proud that, when I put my mind to it, I dress well.
I am proud of my knowledge base.
I am proud to say I am a reader.
I am proud of my affiliations with the North Texas Trail Runners, the Dirt Dawgs, Dorba, Stoneworks and the Business Marketing Association.
I am proud of Sunday Supper Club.
I am proud that I built my own deck.
I am proud that I have business logs and journals going back so many years.
I am proud that people have fun at my house.
I am proud of my yard.
I am proud of my small, organized purse.
I am proud of my ability to research, network, market and write.
I am proud of my heritage.
I am proud of my accomplishments.
I am proud of my choices.
I am grateful to know what I'm proud of.
