Oops. That's one step forward for gun-toting, right-wing evangelical Nut Jobs and two steps backward for woman-kind

Sarah Palin is a bad joke. A gag that has backfired in a serious way. A woman who got what she got because she was hand-picked by a man in power... not because the people chose. She didn't crack the glass ceiling, she just got invited up because she would tread lightly upon it and look good doing it, too.
Whether you think that a new mom with a special needs infant should stay home and dedicate as much time as possible to that infant or not, the fact remains that the infant has special needs. And he was born because Sarah Palin was allowed to make that choice. Yet she is involved in a party that wants to take choices from other women. That makes her a hypocrite.
I can't speak to her political record, but in Alaska she seems to have proven her sheltered and inexperienced misunderstanding of leadership already. We're a week into this and I already find her insulting, pandering, unintelligent and hypocritical.
It's not going so well...
