Security rerouted Bushes' newspaper, but that's fixed

From staff reports
After years of having everything they wanted right at their fingertips, former President George W. Bush and wife Laura are finding that outside the White House, the little things can be the most difficult to get. Like the newspaper.
In an interview with ABC News to be broadcast today on Good Morning America, Laura Bush lamented that "the only thing we don't have are the newspapers. It has been slow to get The Dallas Morning News delivered" to the couple's Preston Hollow home.
She added: "People bring the newspaper to us later in the day. It's just not being delivered yet."
Apparently the problem lies with the ex-president's security. Jim Moroney, The News' publisher and chief executive, said the paper has been delivered faithfully.
"Since we flew the paper to Washington for the Bushes and delivered it to the White House for eight years, we automatically shifted their subscription to their Dallas home after the president left office," Moroney said. "Because the police won't let anyone past the roadblock near the Bush Dallas residence without security clearance, we leave the paper with the police guards near the house bright and early every morning.
"We'd love to be able to provide service to their home, but that hasn't been possible so far."
A spokesman for the former first couple said that while there were problems initially after the Bushes moved in last week, the paper was delivered Wednesday and Thursday.

LOL- man, it kinda make me wish I was still living there. OK, maybe not.
Maybe they should also have a little cheese brought in to go with all the WHINE?
Have they not heard of the internets, where the rest of us check our news everyday? Could they not request that their secret service police operation throw it at their front door immediately upon reception?
Ugh. Assholes.
